Order Of Merit
The Rewards4Golf Tour order of merit will be contested over the course of the Tour season and will be determined at the end of the last Tour event. The order of merit will be based on a player’s total Tour points earned by playing in Tour events during the course of the Tour season.
Assumption of Risk and Release From Liability
By signing or electronically submitting a registration and entering and playing in the Rewards4Golf Tour, the participants understand and agree that there are certain dangers involved with the participation in a golf event, including but not limited to being struck by lightning, getting hit by a golf club or ball, suffering from heat exhaustion, heart attack or injury from uneven terrain, all of these risks the participants assume and solely accept, and waive all claims of injury to body or property against the Rewards4Golf Tour as well as all other presenting sponsors, co-sponsors and representatives affiliated with the Rewards4Golf Tour.
The participants also agree that while at any Rewards4Golf Tour event the participants, and any guest, relative or anyone else affiliated with any participant, will be present at their own risk and that the Rewards4Golf Tour will not be liable for any claims for injuries or damages whatsoever to person or property of the participant or related person arising out of or in connection with the participation in the Event or presence at an Event. The participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Rewards4Golf Tour from all claims by or liability to participant or affiliated person.
Tour Event Format
Each Rewards4Golf Tour event will be played over 18 holes and use the Stableford scoring method. Player’s handicaps will be reduced by 3/4 for the purpose of the Stableford scoring. Countback will be used for any equal results.
Each Tour event will be governed by the current Rules of Golf as approved by the English Golf Union (EGU®) as modified by the local rules and any other Rules and Information Sheet prepared by the Rewards4Golf Tour. All Tour events will be played in accordance with the R & A rules.
Should any Rewards4Golf Tour official consider that any player has not played within the rules then that player may be disqualified.
Tournament Administration
Rewards4Golf Tour officials will be on site at every tournament to handle player check-in, provide assistance, handle scoring/prize pools and make rulings.
Any Rewards4Golf Tour official may assess penalty strokes for rules infractions.
All decisions made by the Rewards4Golf Tour will be final.
The Rewards4Golf Tour reserves the right to override any rules and decide the outcome of any disputes.
The above rules are subject to change but all competitors will receive advance notification before the competition day.
Tee Times & Late Arrival
You will be notified of your tee time by email at least 3 days in advance of an event.
It is your responsibility to ensure you arrive well in advance of your tee time (we advise at least 30 minutes). In the event that you have been delayed on route, we will endeavour but do not guarantee to modify the remaining tee times to accommodate your late arrival. If this is not possible or you do not arrive before the final tee time, no refunds will be given.
Tee times are subject to change at any time prior to the event. If an individual tee time has been moved to an earlier match, we will personally notify you.
Golf Buggies
Any player requiring the use of a buggy for an event must inform the Rewards4Golf Tour at the time of entering an event. Normally buggies will only be allowed on health reasons. These will then be booked at an additional cost to the day. Players must follow golf buggy rules established by the golf course.
On Course Rules
All play at Rewards4Golf Tour events will be governed by the rules and regulations set down by the R & A.
If there is any confusion of a particular ruling during play, and a Rewards4Golf Tour official is not accessible, the player is to enter a second ball into play. The player then plays both balls throughout the hole and then brings the situation to a Rewards4Golf Tour official at the end of the round for a ruling.
Scorecards
Each golfer is responsible for the correctness of his/her scorecard even though a fellow competitor will be marking the scores on each hole.
Each scorecard must be signed by the fellow-competitor and attested by the player.
In attesting the scorecard, you are stating that the score for each individual hole during the round is correct.
Players are not responsible for their calculation of the total round score.
Any protest with regard to scoring must be made to a Rewards4Golf Tour official as soon as possible after an incident occurs so that a proper ruling can be made in a timely fashion. In the event no protests are made within a five-minute period after all scores are posted on the tournament scoreboard, the scoreboard shall be considered final and prizes will be awarded to the winners.
Use of Range Finder Technology
With respect to R & A rule 14-3 and the use of Electronic Distance Measuring Devices, the Rewards4Golf Tour (by local rule) does permit the use of distance-measuring devices.
Caddies
Caddies are permitted at any Rewards4Golf Tour event subject to any restrictions at any of the venues. Caddies are the responsibility of their associated player and are requested to practice proper golf etiquette while on the course.
Pace of Play
The Rewards4Golf Tour encourages players to maintain a good pace of play during their round. If a group is out of position due to slow play, a Rewards4Golf official will advise the group to step up play. If the group does not gain pace within two holes, the representative will have the right to make an adjustment to try and correct the problem. This may include breaking the group in to smaller pairings, setting a time limit per hole, assessing penalty strokes or disqualification from the event.
Dress Code and Player Conduct
The Rewards4Golf Tour will enforce a dress code with no exceptions. Collared shirts and tailored trousers or shorts are required, and no jeans, denims, jogging outfits, or sweat pants are permitted. Shorts may be worn, but must be within five inches of the knee. All players must adhere to the host venue’s dress code as well.
The Rewards4Golf Tour will not tolerate vulgar language, club throwing, alcohol abuse, lack of golfing etiquette, or other such behavior. Such conduct may result in tournament disqualification and suspension or expulsion from the Tour.
The use of mobile phones, beepers, radios and other such devices are prohibited during play.

If by chance the event is cancelled, we will work with the course to set up a re-scheduled date. If this is not possible, we will try and obtain a partial refund or green fee vouchers from the host venue and/or players may apply the credit towards a future scheduled event.
Any partial cancellation refunds and credits will have to be determined based on the policies of the host venue.
